Misto is the first font I designed, and it quickly gained popularity among designers worldwide. It’s a reverse-contrast display typeface inspired by my hometown of Slavutych — the youngest city in Ukraine, built after the Chornobyl disaster. Designed primarily for headlines, it works well in logo design, brand identities, websites, packaging, and posters. The typeface supports both Cyrillic and Latin.
The project has been featured in international media, including AIGA Eye on Design, It’s Nice That, IdN Magazine, Femme Type, and People of Print, and received the Ukrainian Design: The Very Best Of award.
In 2026, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London (V&A) acquired the original sketchbook with the first drawings of this typeface, along with posters and related materials created with it.
